Patient Resources and Information
Nutrition Counseling
Our dietitian consults with patients to
help them maintain a healthy diet and address any related nutritional
needs during treatment. The dietitian identifies treatment goals,
develops a nutrition prescription, and provides individualized
counseling for the patients throughout the course of their treatment.
Support Groups
General and cancer specific support
groups for patients, family and friends provide guidance and hope from
others who have experienced the diagnosis of cancer.

Transportation and housing assistance
Free transportation for patients is
available (within a 60 mile radius) to and from Cancer Center at FMC. Housing can be
provided during radiation treatments for patients who live outside the
Flagstaff area utilizing The Taylor House, Flagstaff’s first hospitality
house for patients.Cancer Screenings
Various screenings for specific types of
cancer are offered throughout the year. Call 928 773-2261 for more
information.Breast Cancer Program
The Breast Cancer Program is designed for
women in need of assistance, guidance and coordination of their breast
cancer diagnosis. This is the latest advanced program the Cancer Center
at Flagstaff Medical Center has put into place.
